Two people were arrested in Lucknow for submitting fake BAMS mark sheets

They were nabbed while attempting to register at the board’s office in Lalbagh. Cops are investigating if the duo assisted others in submitting forged documents.

LUCKNOW: Two people were detained after presenting a forged Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) mark sheet to the Ayurveda department’s registrar’s office. Furqan Ali and Narendra Kumar are Rampur district residents, according to a news release from the Lucknow police.

Doctors must be registered with the Board of Ayurvedic and Unani Tibbi Systems of Medicine, UP, to practice in the state. Dr. AK Verma, the board’s registrar, filed an FIR against the couple at the Hazratganj police station in Lucknow.

We check all mark sheets given to us online.” The documents created by the couple were for a Rishikesh institute (Uttarakhand). The degrees were discovered to be bogus after the verification procedure,” Verma explained.

The information was given to the cops. They were arrested when Furqan and Narendra went to the board’s office in Lalbagh to register. According to sources, the police were examining whether these two had also assisted others in similarly submitting forged paperwork.
