Prime Minister Modi made this statement at the two-day All India Conference of Law Ministers and Secretaries’ opening session.
Mr Modi also stated that laws should be written clearly and in regional languages so that the poorest of the poor can understand them in a video message that was aired at the opening session of the two-day “All India Conference of Law Ministers and Law Secretaries” at Ekta Nagar in Kevadia close to the “Statue of Unity.”
“Delay in getting justice is one of the significant challenges faced by the people of our country.” In addition to saying this, Mr Modi offered a number of solutions to the problem.
According to him, the uniqueness of Indian society is that it has undergone internal reforms for thousands of years while progressing along the path of growth.
“Our society voluntarily got rid of obsolete laws, bad customs and traditions, as we know that if they become stereotypes, they pose a hindrance to progress,” Modi stated.
