The Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) team arrived at the scene to investigate after receiving information about the bomb blast in Sasaram, Rohtas, according to the Bihar Police.

“The blast was reported at a shanty and a scooty has been recovered from the area. Prima facie it does not appear to be a communal incident,” police reported.

On Saturday, the police team, Special Task Force (STF), and Para Military soldiers marched through Sasaram.

As two groups clashed in two different parts of the state on Saturday, three people were shot and injured, according to locals, and communal tensions in Bihar increased.

According to the people of the respective localities, the skirmishes occurred in the Paharpur neighbourhood in Bihar Sharif and the Khasganj neighbourhood in the Sohsarai police station area.

“During the clashes in the Paharpur area, two persons suffered bullet injuries, and were admitted to the hospital for treatment,” Bihar Sharif Sadar Hospital’s Dr Mahendra Kumar spoke to ANI.

Conflicts were recorded on March 31 at Rohtas’ Sasaram and Nalanda’s Biharsharif, where Union Home Minister Amit Shah was supposed to be.

Due to the installation of Section 144 due to conflicts in the area, Amit Shah’s visit to Sasaram in the Bihar region of Rohtas has been postponed.
