AS Dulat (Former Spymaster) walks with Rahul Gandhi in Bharat Jodo Yatra

The march began on Tuesday after a nine-day pause, entering Uttar Pradesh from Delhi.

Former Research and Analysis Wing (R&AW) secretary Amarjit Singh Dulat became the latest renowned personality to join the Bharat Jodo Yatra, which started after a nine-day break on Tuesday and entered Uttar Pradesh from Delhi.

Dulat, according to the Congress, joined the yatra in Delhi.

In a photo posted by INC TV, the grand old party’s official media outlet, the former spymaster is seen shaking hands with the former Congress president, who was clothed in just a white t-shirt, as he has been all winter.

 

Previously, in December of last year, former RBI governor Raghuram Rajan participated in the Bharat Jodo Yatra in Rajasthan. On December 24, actor and Makkal Needhi Maiam (MNM) president Kamal Haasan marched in Delhi.

Actors Pooja Bhatt and Swara Bhaskar, among others, walked beside Gandhi during the march.

Meanwhile, Dulat led R&AW from 1999 to 2000. He also worked as a special director of the Intelligence Bureau (IB) and has written several books in recent years.
