How much did Vicky and Sara’s film “Zara Hatke Zara Bachke” make in 2 days at the box office?

Laxman Utekar’s romantic comedy starring Vicky Kaushal and Sara Ali Khan aims for a 22 crore weekend.

Zara Hatke Zara Bachke, starring Vicky Kaushal and Sara Ali Khan, is doing well in theaters. The picture added 7.20 crore to its two-day total on Saturday, bringing it to 12.7 crore. It is directed by Laxman Utekar, best known for his work on Mimi. Following a 5.5 crore opening, the picture aims for a weekend revenue of approximately 22 crores.

Zara Hatke Zara Bachke stars Vicky Kaushal and Sara Ali Khan in the major roles. Zara Hatke Zara Bachke is running a buy one get one free ticket promotion till Sunday. The major test for the film, though, will begin on Monday as it attempts to maintain its performance.

Furthermore, the film will compete with the animated Hollywood superhero flick Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse. After grossing roughly Rs 8.20 crore in its first two days, the new Spider-Man picture grossed approximately Rs 6.50-7 crore on its third day.

Vicky Kaushal’s second-highest opening in a lead role was achieved by “Zara Hatke Zara Bachke,” with the top spot still held by the success of “Uri: The Surgical Strike.” Similarly, for Sara Ali Khan, “Zara Hatke Zara Bachke” secures her fourth biggest opening, trailing behind the successes of “Simmba,” “Love Aaj Kal,” and “Kedarnath.”

The film received mixed reviews from critics and audiences alike and garnered diverse opinions and assessments.
The film failed to make a strong impact. However, the film failed to capitalize on its comedic potential. Instead, it took a sudden tonal shift in the second half, introducing a plot twist saturated with outdated sentimentality and adding an uninspiring traditional layer. The consistently lackluster writing overshadowed the actors’ efforts, resulting in a disappointing outcome.
